Through tough times like the Great Depression, World War 1, World War II, and the years since then, they have remained in that town. The town of Red Wing is close to Wisconsin, and is connected to it by what locals call the Red Wing Bridge. Officially named the Eisenhower Bridge, but it is the path U.S. Route 63 over the Mississippi River and its backwaters.
